I believe when The Notebook comes on television, every girl in the world is reminded just how perfect Ryan Gosling is.
That kiss, in the rain.
Yes he may be playing a character, but when he grows that beard and tears down the house and repairs it. It’s like he’s repairing every broken heart ever.
And when he is possibly the only man in the world to rock the hell out of a three-piece brown Gucci suit, you know that he is a god amongst men.
It gets better than that, by the way, he took his mother as his date to his latest movie premiere for Gangster Squad, which coincidentally opens this Friday and I will be sat drooling over his raw handsomeness.

Eva Mendes, you lucky, lucky woman.
If the pictures of Ryan Gosling carrying his best buddy George through the airport weren’t enough to make your heart smile. He’s just appeared on Jimmy Fallon with the cute doggy, sporting a red sock because he has a poorly foot and a head to toe mohawk! Seriously I love you Ryan Gosling and cannot wait for Crazy, Stupid Love!

There must be something in the water over in Cannes, nearly every major celeb on the red carpet and at various events has worn white. Rachel McAdams, Uma Thurman, Cheryl Cole all looked stunning in their respective outfits and err Brad Pitt rocked an interesting all-white get up too. Now Ryan Gosling, at the photo call for his new movie Drive, has joined in with his shining example of how to look dapper in crisp white trousers, navy and white brogues and a jacket shirt by Salvatore Ferragamo. I mean how sharp is this look? And I am damn sure this shirt with white piping in the shape of a suit jacket will definitely catch on, and those shoes fantastic.
A second spot on outfit, this time a tuxedo from Ferragamo for the premiere of Drive.
You know what’s coming don’t you, it’s that time of year where if you haven’t got a significant other you find it a pretty grating time having adverts for flowers, chocolates, romantic weekends away and lingerie, shoved in your face like they’re going out of fashion.
Those in love are sickly sweet with each other whilst us loners are stuck out in the cold, discarded, and not worthy.
I don’t need a boyfriend really but it’s pretty unfair that for one day of the year I’m reminded that I’ve never had a bunch of flowers delivered to my door* or my favourite chocolates wrapped and left on my doorstep with a sweet card (oh wait a minute that did happen, he got me the WRONG chocolates, just so you know I do not like Ferrero Rochers) or been given a Me To You bear that says “I Wuv You”.
What’s even worse these days you can’t really do anything on your own because more than likely you’ll look like a social retard, oh wait that’s why we have friends.
Let’s go out and have an anti-man celebration where we bump into more men than ever because they’ve got easy prey. Lonely women. Ouch that sucks, let’s stay in and watch a movie. What was that a happy ever after ending, an amazing marriage proposal, the perfect date, you bought us designer shoes because you know us so well? It is impossible to get away from the picture perfect story that all women aspire to when all we expect is our men to act like Noah Calhoun.
So I could go on and say how we don’t need men we have our girlfriends aka Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, who claims it’s an mortal sin to put your man before your friend, but I’m not going to lie here your friends aren’t going to keep you warm in bed now are they?
So stuff it I hate Valentine’s Day, but I want flowers and I want chocolate.

On JustJared this morning these beautiful images of Michelle Williams appeared from her spread in Angeleno magazine, absolutely stunning. Of course I had to share them, the magazine names her a major Oscar contender for her performance in indie movie Blue Valentine, alongside the delectable Ryan Gosling.
“I was just an actor who happened to be lucky enough to be in the right place, and it was the place where I met Matlida’s father [the late Heath Ledger], and that is a lot. And it will be a lot for Matlida too, when she gets around to watching it. I will watch it with her, when she’s ready.”
Michelle Williams has that kind of ethereal beauty about her, and as I’ve said before her hair is perfect. She looked gorgeous in this red lace Erdem dress that she wore for the UK premiere of her new film Blue Valentine co-starring Ryan Gosling.
