Day Twenty Seven – This Month in Great Detail

Yeah it 22:18, I’ve put this off loooooong enough. So here goes, the month starts from 18th May.

It’s the day after my last (and first) exam, I laid in bed all day suffering from an extreme hangover but what a great night with the journo bunch… miss you guys.

Spot the journo

That week was pretty much a blur of drunken haziness. Wednesday night out, with Kelly and Edith, planning on a easy going night out ended up preeetty hammered without realising haha love those times. Thursday attempted the last ever Promo and failed. Then Friday came and we ventured to Blackpool for a lovely day out on the pier and in the arcades trying to win tickets so we could buy stuff like a waterpistol, an etch-a-sketch, sweets, and playdoh. Then everyone congregated at the Last Ever Manorgate Party to bid a fond farewell to the huge house that has held many a crazy party in it. Everybody say ahhhhh.

Err then this weekend was amazing because it was gloriously sunny, a great end to time spent in Preston. You did me well oh Prestoncity, bidding me a sunny farewell. Bbq’s in the park with Tequilaville. Love it.

Then said my byebyes to the lovely folk on Monday, shared a big fat Indian with Kelly and then bye to Tequilaville. The packing took forever, even though I had already made about 3 trips home with stuff already, how does stuff just gather?!!

Then I think those first few days at home were spent not doing much, unpacked in a day but it’s really not unpacked just stuffed under my bed haha. I promise that I will sort all that junk out soon. When I can find the time….

The first night out back home is always an event, I can’t actually remember what happened as there weren’t any photos taken. I think I remember dancing to videos on Youtube, most likely Beyonce Rolling on the River. Then a lot of vodka and more dancing. I think it took me a whole day to recover from that hangover.

I must have joined the gym at some point in the first week or so at home, been going ever since as I don’t have a lot to fill my days. Err and I think I went to a pub quiz as well, must have done. Yes I remember I shared a whole bottle of wine with Claris, and caught up on Brid gossip.

I pulled a muscle in my arm that rendered me incapable for a few days after going to a studio resistance class at the gym, agony I tell you absolute agony.

I think also since I’ve been home I’ve probably bought about 4 new Barry M nail varnishes. A new denim jacket, a crochet dress, a couple of maxi dresses, leggings, sandals, blue shorts, pink top, trainers, jogging bottoms, sports bra, make up.

I have this maxi but it's all cream, love it. Looks good with the dj and I heart my slash knitted dress. (All Toppers)

Also just recently purchased the complete boxset of The OC, but I still need to finish watching Dawson’s Creek otherwise I’ll get confused. Then I’ve just received the True Blood books, which will no doubt confuse me to no end because they aren’t exactly the same as the television series which has just started again.

Erm I can’t think of anything else I’ve done that I haven’t already blogged about and I’m boring myself. So goodnight I’m tired.

Day Twenty Six – Your Week in Great Detail

Agh, this is the part of the challenge that is tough. At 21 I still have a young brain but remembering what I did for a whole week, bloody hell. I’ll try my best.

Monday – I had 2 job interviews in the space of a few hours, had to get up earlier than usual to travel through to Hull. Drive back and then have an hour’s break at my Mum’s school in reception class watching all the little ones play with toys and stuff, then go to my second interview at The Spa in Bridlington. Then I went to the gym, and went home to see a newly laid road outside my house, wow exciting stuff.

Tuesday – Err, I think I basically sat around all day watched a bit of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on Youtube, and a couple of episodes of Dawson’s Creek. Then went to a Pilates class, rushed home got changed and went to the pub quiz where we didn’t win because we never do even though we cheat.

Wednesday – Walked my dog Finn, absolutely cutie, he walks lovely on his own when he’s not been influenced by Izzy. That’s pretty much all I did to be fair, made a smoothie I think with our new blender.

Thursday – Sat around all day, then went to meet my friend from work went to the gym, spied some fitties, and then came home.

Friday – This was a loooong day, I’d offered to help chaperone a school trip for my Mum’s reception class, an art trip to Sewerby Hall to draw and paint and stuff. We walked all the way there which is probably only like a mile, sat did some sketching of trees, flowers, the hall itself, and some animals, I drew a nice penguin. Then we had a picnic with the kids, and then we walked back to school. I came back home then went to Pilates again, absolutely knackered by the end of the day.

Saturday – Washed my hair, straightened it. Then started work at 5, first actual job in about a year, so I was quite looking forward to doing something rather than just sitting around. 6 hour shift was tired out, my feet hurt and I smelt of Mexican food, which I can eat for free on my break, but I declined due to the whole trying to shift half a stone in 5 weeks.

Sunday – I think I did, yep, that’s right, nothing. I painted my nails in Pink Flamingo, watched some Sabrina, chatted with my Mum, text my friend, all which involved not moving from the couch all day. Oh and then I went to see Sex and the City and ate a bag of Minstrels, yeah good work.

That is it, at the moment I have nothing else to do, but exercise and sit around all day. I could find stuff to do but I’m at that stage where I can’t be bothered. I think after 17 years of education I need a break from all the deadlines and stuff, I’m just chillin’ out, relaxin’ and shootin’ some b-ball outside the school…

I’d like to draw your attention to how hot Mr Zac Efron looks without his top on, on a beach in Maui, Hawaii. If I had the money I would be on a flight out there right this second.

Day Three – Your Favourite Television Programme

At the moment that would be quite difficult to answer considering I watch about 10 television programmes. I must note that they are US tv shows because they are SO MUCH BETTER than UK tv. It pales in comparison. Then again the US did steal The Office (not that I watched it) and they are currently filming their own version of Shameless with Emmy Rossum as Fiona.

Anyhoo, MY favourite programme ever would have to be Dawson’s Creek (surprise) I grew up with this show, I didn’t understand what they were saying and I still have to refer to a dictionary when Joey throws out 7 words when she only needed 2. I loved watching how pathetic and self-involved Dawson is, or how Jen and Pacey tried to be sex buddies but it just didn’t work. And I bawled my eyes out when Jen dies in the very last episode, a really amazing ending even if it was that sad.

Jen: What about you, Joe? Are you a virgin? Joey: You kidding? Years ago. Trucker named Bubba.

I love following how the main cast have changed but hate the fact that Katie Holmes has a weird old man as her husband. I adore Michelle Williams and how pretty she is, I enjoy how James Van Der Beek has become a dishy man and I heart Josh Jackson and his lovely lovely girlfriend Diane Kruger.

Here’s something that I haven’t been able to watch fully simply because it is too painful.
