As a kid this was my favourite book, the copy I have on my bookshelf is ridiculously battered, I have read it countless times.
My favourite book now is pretty difficult to decide, I do read so much that everything kind of flows together. I’ve always read any book by James Patterson a habit passed on from my Nan, and the Patricia Cornwell Scarpetta series. At school we had to read To Kill A Mockingbird, which has to be a favourite, writing several essays on it makes you understand a book that much more! I don’t care what anybody says I love Harry Potter and can’t tell you how many times I have read those books, the same with the Twilight series. Although I can’t say I enjoy Stephanie Meyer’s writing style and with her being so religious the undertones in the books are too hard to ignore!
Anyway if I had to pick just ONE book out of all that I have read it, would be A Place Called Here by Cecilia Ahern. Yeah, it’s chick lit, and I don’t care. Those stories are always the best, and I like to think that there is such a place where all lost things go. It makes me feel better. (Also Where Rainbows End came in a close second)
