Mollie King snaps up Randy Gandy

My nickname for the hot male model has stuck, David Gandy is one fine male specimen and I definitely would have put him with a Hollywood A-list superstar or a Victoria’s Secret model for sure not a sugary pop star and 1/5 of The Saturdays. I know it’s been public knowledge for a while but I forgot to write about it what with the Royal Wedding happening and everything inbetween.

Mollie King the cute blonde one from The Saturdays has bagged herself a male supermodel, never in a million years would I have thought these two would step out together but would you have it the couple have been spotted out together quite a few times over the past month cementing their relationship status as the hot new thing in town. She’s one lucky gal, after reading his blog he comes across as a genuinely nice, clever and smart guy, how perfect.

Now I’m going to keep an eye on the transformation that is sure to follow in Mollie, less nights out with the girls more swanky A-list bashes. Now she has the key to the red carpet and not the one of a tacky television awards show but one to the fashion world where I’m sure any girl would love to be. No more high street for Ms King more like his favourite label D&G or a bit of Ralph Lauren if Randy points her in the right direction. Rachel Bilson enjoys a Magnum

I heard Rachel Bilson was working with Karl Lagerfeld a couple of months ago, I was beyond excited, what could it be about why her why him? And so I find out that Magnum ice cream are launching in the US (who knew they weren’t a global brand already?) and enlisted Karl Lagerfeld to direct a series of short films with Rachel Bilson starring and also featuring his favourite ~~boytoy~~ model Baptiste Giabiconi to promote them. I wonder how much Karl is getting paid for that, he recently admitted to W Magazine that he doesn’t even like ice cream or chocolate for that matter and claims that he hasn’t eaten sugar for 10 years and that he “eats with [his] nose”. WHAT?!

The first film was released at the Tribeca Film Festival entitled Photo Mood. We see a starlet (Bilson) being directed by a demanding photographer (Giabiconi) when a Magnum ice cream catches her eye, she stops the shoot to grab one out of the freezer that they just happen to have on set. It’s odd to say the least, there is no point to the ice cream, and no relation to what the shoot is about which usually happens when ad campaigns like this happen. Ah well, hopefully the next two will be better, Art Class and Applause are yet to be released.

Also today Karl was pictured further promoting Magnum by designing a Paris hotel room made entirely out of Belgian chocolate (the stuff he doesn’t like, yes) and even the model was edible… And as Heat rightly pointed out it looks more like Joey Essex than Baptiste Giabiconi who it was supposed to be. REEM.

Paris Haute Couture 2011

Normally I don’t pay attention to haute couture, it’s too extravagant and over the top, but this year designers have gone minimal, intricate and beautiful (well mostly). I’ve picked my favourites from the designers that have showcased their couture designs so far, Alexis Mabille, Armani Prive, Bouchra Jarrar, Chanel, Christian Dior, Elie Saab, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino.

There are plenty of options for future award shows, especially from the amazingly talented Elie Saab. And I absolutely adore the Chanel sequin leggings, what’s not to love?
