September is coming

It’s September tomorrow, and I would like to know where the hell August has gone or for that matter SUMMER? There were no blazing sunshine days like back in Ma,y there were no trips to the beaches and only one BBQ the whole time. It totally sucked.

September usually means a return to education but for the first time in 17 years this is not the case. I’m done with learning but now what the hell am I supposed to do for autumn/winter? Well at least one good thing comes out of September and that is Fall television, yes my US television schedule will be full to the brim with Gossip Girl, Fringe, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries as well as any other new television premieres that may take my fancy.

And I may have possibly mentioned this once or twice before but US tv is sooooo much better than UK tv, the only good thing we do is crime thrillers like Wire in the Blood, Silent Witness and Waking the Dead.

Yummy.

Oversea at the Emmys 2010

My favourite Daily Show presenter, Olivia Munn, in Zac Posen

How has Anna Paquin only got eyes for Stephen Moyer, when the hunk that is Alexander Skargard is stood on her right?!

Claire Danes glittering in Armani Prive

A tiny Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta

Nina Dobrev in Zuhair Murad looking extremely slim

Maria Menounos in a custom-made Ralph & Russo dress

January Jones in an amazing Atelier Versace electric blue dress

Just a few of my favourite looks from the US Emmy awards.

Happy Birthday to two blondes

Yeah I’ve written a few posts today, but I don’t care I’ve got a lot to say. Now I’m sending birthday wishes to two of my favourite television stars, Blake Lively, 23, and Alexander Skarsgard, 34. Two gorgeous blondes with lovely genes how lucky.

Blake is featured in Interview Magazine, interviewed by none other than Ben Affleck. She looks all sexy and sultry in the shoot by Craig McDean.

And then the lovely Alexander Skarsgard my favourite vampire (well just behind RPattz), he’s just appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone NAKED with his co-stars, yum yum.

Everyone loves to know what you’re wearing

At the beginning of the past few months, I’ve been excited to see who Vogue.com have picked for their next Today I’m Wearing Blog. Dead Stylish is as addicted to it as me and it’s fun to see what the celebs wear everyday, and unanimous favourites have been the likes of Daisy Lowe and Julia Restoin Roitfeld but I’m really disappointed with August’s model guest Tolula Adeyemi.

I’ve visited the site everyday to see what Talula wears and nothing has really made me stare in awe like I did with JRR’s Pamela Love jewellery collection or Daisy Lowe’s array of vintage dresses.

The only outfit that made me sit up and be like wow I wish I had those abs was her interpretation of festival fashion for V Fest, I mean who else could wear a Sass and Bide feather neck-dress as a top and get away with it?

Other than her headbands by former Vivienne Westwood designer Saro Schwyzer, I’ve not become a Talula convert. (Note: As part of my degree course we had to create our own magazines, one of ours was called Rags to Riches a boutique start-up guide, and we interviewed none other than Saro as one of our main features!)

I wonder who Vogue will pick next? I’m hoping for Blake Lively, seeing as though she’s US Vogue’s IT girl at the minute!
