What a difference a couple of years make

We’ve all seen Emma Watson grow up on our screens, and on the red carpet and what a difference a few designer pals can make to the way she looks.

At the National Movie Awards in 2008, she wore a white full-length Alexander McQueen dress. It looked like an afterthought, as if she wasn’t really sure how she should be dressing, it was nice but boring although the bag is delicious.

And then last year, who knows what she was thinking (or her stylist) when she turned up in a ghastly cornflower blue shirt dress. Yes that’s right a shirt dress at 19 (20 this year) she looked like she was trying to be 35. Urgh it didn’t fit and it made her look like a stick insect with no shape to her body, not a good look.

But now, look to the Awards which were held last night (26/5/10) and Emma looks downright fabulous darling. A white sequinned Karl Lagerfield (who else?) dress with sexy Christian Louboutin shoes. And alongside a cutesy Bonnie Wright and a handsome Daniel Radcliffe she could not go wrong. Well, maybe she could have done something with her hair, but then I’m just been picky.

And honestly I could go on about Emma Watson forever, because she has had so many hits and misses it would be impossible to fit them all into one blog post!

Day Eight – A Photo That Makes You Angry/Sad

Zante 2009 - Cameo Island

This photo makes me sad, because I’m not going back to Zante this year and I’m never going to get a tan as good as that! It was an amazing summer and there are too many memories, some that I can’t even remember but spent with fantastic people!! And I’m super jealous of anyone going this year!

Day Seven – A Photo That Makes You Happy

This picture is from one of the best nights ever had in my home town. It’s a joint birthday between two of my friends, and we decided it would be frickin’ hilarious to go out as lifeguards. Oh the fun we had, just seeing this picture makes me crack up knowing what swines we were that night, with our whistles, water pistols and rubber rings. How cool are we?

Lifeguards!

Day Six – Whatever Tickles Your Fancy

The Last Day in my house in Preston

It was so long ago that we picked the name for our house, not at all lame in fact 100% FUN!

I’d also like to say:

“It’s your business”

“Ian…. the musical?!”

“I’ll tell you what it is”

“Cocky cow”

Day Five – Your Favourite Quote

“The reason death sticks so closely to life isn’t biological necessity–it’s envy.

Life is so beautiful that

death has fallen in love with it ,

a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can. But life leaps over oblivion lightly, losing only a

thing or two of no importance, and gloom is but the passing shadow of a cloud.”

Life of Pi, Yann Martel

Summer’s here?

Wow what an amazing past few days it’s been. I managed to complete my little list from my other post, spent the whole day in Blackpool in the arcades like a full on tourist, I’ve had too many Twister’s to count all with the best friends you could ask for. (soppy?)

Spent today in Avenham Park in Preston, full to the brim with groups of people, bbq’s, drink, ice, footballs and frisbees. And the cutest couple ever:

A girl, a guy and a dog called Ralph.

I feel like this really has been the best ending to university, I’m glad I managed to stick it out. And obviously there are too many people to mention who I’m going to miss but

GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL XXX
